Submissions

• My submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
• My submission is one self-sufficient Word document (single-spaced, no line numbers) containing all text, tables, and figures. Tables and figures are embedded inline, near their first mention.
• A cover letter is usually not needed unless you have special circumstances to explain.
• If you are submitting review papers, commentary, or letters to editor, you understand that due to the rise in AI-assisted writing, those types of submission face rigorous scrutiny and their acceptance rates are low.
• All communicaiton and file exchanges are on this system. Login to download, upload, or add discussion. Do not email the editor office or the website manager as they have no information regarding your manuscript review and there are multiple people touch your manuscript across the system.

1. Research Materials

• Eligible Materials: Plant extracts, fractions, and purified isolates derived from terrestrial or marine flora.
• Ineligible Materials: Purely synthetic compounds or "nature-identical" synthetics are generally outside the scope of this journal, unless they are utilized as comparative controls for a botanical-derived lead.

2. Document Format

• Single Word File: Submit your manuscript as one self-sufficient Word document (single-spaced, no line numbers) containing all text, tables, and figures. Embed tables and figures inline, near their first mention.
• Authors focus on the contents; our editorial office formats text, tables, font style and size, and spacing, along the review process.
• Images: embed high resolution images into the document

3. Time to Publication: On average, well-written manuscripts with minimal edits are published within 4 weeks from the time of initial receipt.

4. Review & Commentary: In the era of AI, these types of publication must provide deeper, novel intellectual insights. High rejection rates in this categories.
